As we advance with remodeling and decorating..I will be adding more pictures of the changes ...
The column shown in the dining room picture was made out of hollow core doors that used to be in a bedroom as a bifold closet door. We redid the bedroom this year..and salvaged the old bifolds...dh made this large column using the bifold doors..and leftover molding pieces from the bedroom. Sequence of pics..as I've added to the column..still not sure how it will end. I'm still looking for something to put IN the pot.
Directions: used double bifold closet doors..nailed together..then trim molding added to edges..and the sides. Top and bottom made by cutting LARGE squares...nailing on from the top and bottom..chalked the nail holes and painted white. The jug on top..came from Mexico. Added the velvet fruits..an ongoing project!

This is the "new" pedestal..it still needs to be painted
but it has a DOOR AND SHELVES inside! I wish we would have thought
of this when we made the first one!!
